In 2024, I went on a business trip to New Zealand for the first time in 7 years. The purpose of my business trip was to develop and introduce new wineries to Eiwa Shoji, a wine importer. I visited the Marlborough region, which is famous for its wine production, as well as the Auckland region, which is also New Zealand’s oldest wine region.
The photo shows the home of Konrad, the producer of Konrad wine, in the Marlborough region. Mr. Konrad’s 75th birthday party was held in great style. The house is located in a vineyard. Konrad himself is still active as a wine producer, working hard to make wine. His wife is also a very bright and kind person. We hope that Mr. and Mrs. Konrad will continue to enjoy winemaking in good health.
