I visited Tanzania about 5 years ago. Africa was an unknown world to me as I had never been there before. Tanzania is home to Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m). Many wild animals live in nature reserves and national parks. Unlike at the zoo, seeing wild animals directly was impressive and very moving.
We also visited the Tingatinga workshop in Dar es Salaam, the commercial center. It began when Edward Said Tinga Tinga used enamel paint to paint on building materials. It is characterized by freely depicting nature such as animals and plants in very vivid colors.
